The Board has signed off on two new standards – Adverse event reporting, and Physiotherapists giving advice about medication:
These join our other standards in setting a minimum requirements for conduct and competence for the profession.

The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal has published its decision following a hearing held at Christchurch in July 2019, and concerning a charge laid by the Director of Proceedings against Mr Peter William Chum, then a physiotherapist practising in Christchurch.
The Board and Secretariat staff wish to warmly congratulate our Deputy Chairperson Professor David Baxter on being awarded the Fellowship of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, based upon contributions to research in the profession.
