There’s a fortnight left to make your submission on the Board’s proposed set of Standards, which will set the expectation for specific areas of practice and conduct (e.g. Administering medicines in the absence of a Doctor).

Overseas students seeking clinical placements

Overseas physiotherapy students seeking clinical placements, internships or work experience as part of their qualification are required to contact one of the Schools of Physiotherapy to see whether there is a possibility of an arrangement being made.

Increase in ACC payments

ACC has asked the Board to draw practitioners’ attention to the 2.22% increase in contributions ACC pays for treatment, consultation and imaging under the Cost of Treatment Regulations.
