COVID update – February 18, 2021

On 17 February 2021, Jacinda Ardern, our Prime Minister announced that from 11.59pm Wednesday 17 February:

Auckland will move to COVID-19 alert level 2 (with the exception of students and school community of Papatoetoe High School who are required to remain in self-isolation until a negative COVID-19 test result)
COVID-19 Alert level 2 Board/PNZ Guidelines are here.

The rest of New Zealand will move to COVID alert level 1
COVID-19 Alert level 1 Board/PNZ Guidelines are here.

This is welcome news and thank you to all the Auckland physiotherapists who made the significant and necessary changes during the increased Alert Levels.

And our thanks to physiotherapists in the other parts of Aotearoa too.  Your support and ongoing commitment to keeping us all safe is sincerely appreciated.

We understand these Alert levels are to be reviewed on Monday 22 February 2021 – and we will keep you updated.

Ngā mihi and stay safe,
