There are plenty of people with advice at times like this. A physiotherapist whom we were talking with mentioned a Stuff article from Tony Alexander (formerly BNZ’s Chief Economist). He has shared tips for surviving the pandemic from a business sense. He has a number of articles so look him up via Stuff if you are interested in what he has to say.
In reflecting about this terrible time we are in – are there positives? We have found a few. There are people in our communities who we see in a different light – the young man at Pak n Save where I collect my groceries for example. He is so cheerful, helpful and gives his time to those who look like they need someone to notice them.
And with Anzac Day just passed we are asked to reflect on heroes of the past who fought for our freedom and liberty. There are so many heroes we are now seeing through this pandemic – for us you are our today heroes for the sacrifice you are making now in keeping us, our family, whānau and the ones special in our lives safe. Thank you. |
