Fostering Excellence in
Physiotherapy – Physiotherapists
Actively Making a Difference.
The Physiotherapy Board (the Board) is the responsible
authority for physiotherapists, established under the
Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003
(HPCA Act). Our purpose is to protect the health and
safety of the public by providing mechanisms to ensure
physiotherapists are competent and fit to practise.
