COVID Alert Level 4 – information from MoH 

Today we informed you of the advice we received from the Ministry of Health regarding what the restrictions will be on face to face consultations under Level 4.

The Ministry has significant concerns for public safety given the transmissibility of the Delta variant of COVID-19.   This evening we received an important notice from the Ministry of Health which is available here. (more…)

Level 3 COVID-19 patient outcome research released

In March 2021, 1,900 Auckland practising physiotherapists were invited by the Board to be part of a survey on the impact on Level 3 COVID-19 restrictions on patients. (more…)

Ngā Manukura O Āpōpō Clinical Leadership – scholarship applications open

Due to the success of the programme to date, Ngā Manukura o Āpōpō Clinical Leadership Programme is providing training for an additional cohort of students this year. The Board is offering two scholarship positions for this cohort and applications are now open. (more…)

The international COVID-19 crisis

COVID-19 has struck many nations deeply and we know that the increasing crisis in India and elsewhere is echoing through our communities and our profession. On behalf of the Board and the staff we offer our aroha and thoughts to all of the members of the Physiotherapy community in Aotearoa who have friends, whanau, and family abroad and at risk.

COVID update – March 1, 2021

We are confident that the whole of the country knows the latest update that:

Auckland has moved to COVID-19 alert level 3, and the rest of NZ to level 2, for seven days from 6am on Sunday 28 February.

COVID-19 Update 22 February 2021

Today our Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, announced that the Auckland region will join the rest of New Zealand at Alert Level 1 from 11.59pm Monday 22 February.
