Implementation of Bi-national Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Physiotherapy Practice Thresholds
The new binational physiotherapy practice thresholds were implemented on May 31st 2016. Please refer to our Bi-national Thresholds resource page for more information.
Overseas qualified physiotherapists under Section 12(2) of the HPCA Act 2003.
- The current application fee is NZ $1,532.50 (non-refundable)
- There is no accreditation of overseas courses. Each application is individually assessed.
- The information required is extensive and there is no guarantee of registration.
Eligibility to Apply for Registration as a Physiotherapist in New Zealand
