| Annual Practising Certificate (APC) |
It is a legal requirement to hold a current APC if you are practising
physiotherapy in New Zealand. You must be registered with the Board
and then every year apply for an APC.

Obtain details from the Register |
Practitioners, the public, employers, ACC etc can request public
information from the Register. For example, confirmation that a
practitioner is registered with the Board. (Contact
the Secretariat)

Maintaining your entry in the Register whilst not holding an
APC. (Registered with a non-practising status)

| Restoring your entry in the Register |
Under Section 145 of the HPCA Act 2003, you may apply to have
your entry restored in the Register. Please contact
the Secretariat to check your registration status and the process
to be followed.

Re-registration for those persons first registered under the
Physiotherapy Act 1949 and removed from the Register under Section
16 of the Physiotherapy Act 1949.

| Certificate of Good Standing |
For physiotherapists who need to demonstrate their good standing
with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand e.g. often necessary
when applying for registration overseas.
