Code of Health and Disability Services consumers’
rights
All health professionals (including physiotherapists) must comply with
the
“Code of Health and Disability Services consumers’ rights”.
The
purpose of the code is:
- To promote and protect the rights of health consumers in New Zealand;
and
- To facilitate the fair, speedy, and efficient resolution of complaints
relating to infringements of the rights covered in the code.
Copies of the code can be obtained from the Health
and Disability Commissioner.
